Mission
Putting our faith into action, the Almaden Hills Mission Commission supports and shares programs serving the broader world. This includes long-standing prayerful and financial support of missionaries and worldwide programs, but also timely response to national and global disasters and crises. Our Outreach Commission focuses on reaching out to people in need in our neighborhood and in the greater San Jose community. From our annual giveaway of backpacks and school supplies - to preparing and serving meals for the residents of Casitas de Esperanza transitional housing - to preparing lunch bags for distribution by Front Door Communities in downtown San Jose, our goal is to help our neighbors in need. There are many ways to join us in helping to feed, clothe, and serve those in our community.
