Programs for Children

KIDS Team

KIDS (Kids in Discipleship Service) Team is a fun, service-oriented program for children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. Once a month, KIDS Team meets for lunch, some youth group type games and a service project. Past KIDS Team projects have included Operation Christmas child shoebox project, making decorations for the church Halloween party, food drive, decorating and delivering Valentine cookies to seniors and CROP walk.

Christmas Musical

Every December children in preschool – 5th grade have the opportunity to participate in our children’s Christmas musical. Practices are generally before the Sunday worship service and run for two months. The musical is presented to the entire congregation on a Sunday in December. Each year the Christmas musical is different, keeping it interesting and entertaining for both our children and the congregation.

Vacation Bible School

In the summer, our church offers a Vacation Bible School for children. Check here in the spring for details.

Family Parties

We generally have both a Christmas party and an Easter Party for children and families. These parties are potluck luncheons held after the Sunday worship service with games and crafts for the children centering on the Christian meaning of the holiday.
